PARC (Parks, Arts, Recreation, Culture) Committee

PARC Tax Advisory Board 7 February 2018 City Administration Building Conference Room. Attendees Brian Thompson Dale Gunther Camden Bird Laurel Shelley Clark Taylor Nate Mecham Nan Kuhn Karen Schaack Scott Okelberry participated by conference call. Introductions of two new board members, Karen Schaack and Scott Okelberry they are replacing Staci Carroll and Clark Taylor. Approve the January 3, 2018 minutes Dale moved to approve the January 3, 2018, meeting minutes. Nate seconded the motion and the motion passed unanimously. Action Items  Memo to Mayor: Quail Hollow funds have been redirected to solve fill issues  Workshop Slides: Nate is updating slides with the new board members, application new deadlines, adding keys to success (helpful hints from past applications), and grants awarded last year. Please send any pictures of projects to Nate.  Art Dye Park: Nate and Derric met to discuss value engineering  Harrington: Meet with Bell family, check on private funding  Bond Council (Art Dye): If Council approves to bond for Art Dye this month, bond could be ready by May  Preferred deadline for PARC Grant Awards: Camden will check with the Council and send info to Nate for the Workshop slides. Workshop 2018 Applicant Workshop - February 21st, 7:00 pm, American Fork City Administration Building Conference Room. PARC Program Overview Program overview, policies and ordinances, applications, board members can be found on afparc.org. Scott and Karen need to get their picture to Camden for the website. Other Try and attend the February 20th, 4:00 pm Council Work Session, TAF will be updating their projects. Let Brian know when you are available in March to meet and discuss applications and schedule presentations The next meeting will be is March 7, 2018, at 5:30 pm, American Fork City Administration Building Conference Room.
