The meeting started at 5:30 pm. PARC Grant Community Survey The primary purpose of the survey is to determine American Fork resident preferences for PARC fund allocation. A secondary purpose is to assess the level of awareness of PARC and its associated projects. Y2 Analytics was selected to conduct the survey using any combination of the following: 1) Telephone Survey: 8 to 10 minutes 400 live telephone interviews 2) Online Survey: Voter list acquisition and email mailing and mailing to an address 3) Hybrid Survey: dual-mode online and telephone. Surveys usually have approximately 50 questions and could take up to 12 minutes to complete. Specific questions about the various projects and/or the overall objectives of PARC funding can be asked. Board members should send any additional survey suggestions to Kyrene to be added to the draft survey. Some of the Board’s objectives: 1) Determine PARC fund allocation preferences from residents 2) Educate the public about the benefits of the PARC tax 3) Determine how effective the PARC logo has been 4) Assess resident awareness of PARC projects around town The Board chose the hybrid approach involving 300-400 American Fork City registered voters who will receive an e-mail or a regular mail invitation to participate in the online survey. A help line will be available to answer questions. A second email reminder will be sent a few days prior the survey’s deadline. The PARC Grant Community Survey will be conducted in September, with a planned release after Labor Day. The survey period will last approximately two weeks. When the results become available, Y2 Analytics will present the survey results to the Board. Other Business Next meetings August 21, 2019, draft survey will be reviewed then.
