PARC Tax Advisory Board Minutes from January 5, 2022 Attendees Brian Thompson Laurel Shelley Nate Mecham Scott Okelberry Camden Bird Karen Schaack Nan Kuhn Clark Taylor Brandon Smith participated by conference call. The meeting started at 5:30 pm. Laurel moved to approve the November 3, 2021, meetings minutes, Nate seconded the motion. Scott and Karen abstained. Motion passed. Annual Workshop January 27, 2022, 7:00 pm, City Administration Building • Slideshow Updates ▪ Transparency clause ▪ Clarify total funds needed for each project ▪ Line-item expenses ▪ All attached documents must be PDFs files ▪ Report any outside funding and donations ▪ Does the project meet its goal? ▪ Does project benefit the city? ▪ Where are requested equipment/instruments stored and who is responsible ▪ Do application in a Word document then paste information into application ▪ Prepare for presentation for Board in March ▪ Take a lot of photos of project and send to Camden ▪ Keep good records for audits and Council Report ▪ PARC logo present on programs, signs, during construction, completion to project Timeline January 27: Workshop January 28: Application Open February 25: Application Close March 4: Board reviews applications March 16 and 23: Application Presentations March 30: Draft Recommendations April 6: Final Recommendations April 14: Submit Final Recommendations to Council April 19: Council Meeting Other Business a.
