AMESBURY CITY HALL 62 Friend Street Amesbury, MA 01913 City Council Ad Hoc Budget Committee Meeting of the Whole Minutes Budget Hearing May 19, 2022 at 7:00 PM Virtual meeting This meeting was conducted under the ‘Executive Order Suspending Certain Provisions of the Open Meeting Law G.L. c.30A, §20’, signed on March 12, 2020. The public could view this meeting on ACTV Channel 12, the ACTV website, or ACTV’s Facebook page. Public comment was made available by email ahead of time or by submitting comments on the Facebook Live feed during the meeting. Meeting was called to order at 7:01pm Roll call was taken, present were: Councilor Deschenes, Councilor Frey, Councilor Hickok, Councilor Hogg, Councilor Mandeville, Councilor Rinaldi, and Councilor Wheeler Absent were: Councilor Lennon and Councilor Stanganelli Councilor Lennon joined the meeting at 7:10pm Amesbury Public Schools (page 79) Amesbury Public School Superintendent, Elizabeth McAndrews and Director of Business, Joan Liporto, gave a detailed presentation (attachment 1) to the City Council on the Public Schools budget. They answered the various questions from the councilors. Councilor Lennon motioned to adjourn. Councilor Frey seconded this motion. Roll call was taken, all members present voted in favor. Motion passed.
