Meeting called to order at 6:34 p.m. by Anne. 2. Old Business a. Trustee job description and elevator pitch – Draft orientation packet that Jessica will be sending to the Trustees for review includes a job description on page 10. Revisions suggested based on two examples. b. Common questions Trustees are asked – Audrey is still compiling a list. She will bring to the next meeting. c. Library Trustees page on city website – Discussion started with Aimie presenting examples of Trustee pages on other library sites that the APL staff has reviewed as part of the project to redesign the APL website. • Naperville library trustees page includes an overview, pictures of the Trustees, meeting schedules and agendas, and rules for public comment. • Andover library trustees page lists members, when they were elected, when their terms is up. Their minutes are a bit hard to find though. • Beverly library links directly to Trustees page on the city website. • Amesbury Public Library – Our current Trustees page on the Library website has a list of current Trustees, a welcome letter, and a link to the Trustees bylaws. Discussed other things to potentially add: Trustee Trusts, ways to give, subcommittees and their mission statements. Also discussed pros and cons of having a single page or pages compared to having pages on both the city website and the Library website and how to keep both updated. 3. Other – None 4.
