MINUTES of the ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS MEETING
THURSDAY, April 25, 2024

Topics for Discussion:
1. Rita Stogryn of 66 Clinton St. is seeking a Special Permit/Finding pursuant to XI Special Conditions K.2 for an
in-law apartment.
Chair McDermot called the meeting to order at 7:00pm
Chair McDermot read the agenda items.
Chair McDermot asked the board if they had any changes to the meeting minutes.
Chair McDermot motioned to approve the minutes from April 4, 2024.
Motion by Donna Collins, seconded by David Haraske. All in favor.

PUBLIC HEARINGS
Rita Stogryn of 66 Clinton St. is seeking a Special Permit/Finding pursuant to XI Special Conditions K.2 for an in-
law apartment.
Denis Hamel appeared on behalf of Rita Stogryn and went over the paperwork and drawings filed to construct
a single-story in-law apartment addition. Donna Collins stated that the in-law addition must be completed
according to the plan submitted and cannot exceed the 30% of the gross floor area.
Summary of Findings read by Chair McDermot
Chair McDermot made a motion to approve/deny
Charles Bassler – approve
Donna Collins – approve
Sharon McDermot – approve
David Haraske – approve
The Board voted unanimously to approve the Special Permit/Finding application to construct an addition to be used as an
in-law apartment with the stipulation that addition will be built according to plans and the threshold will not exceed 30%
of the gross floor area. A Variance will not be required as long as the applicant remains compliant to the ordinance
outlined.
