He then conducted the Pledge of Allegiance. There will be live music and we hope to see people there. • The Village Beach Blast will take place, with fireworks, on August 28th down at the beach. Please save the date. • The Bay Village Civic Association Farmer’s Market takes place on Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 9/11 Park. • Kiwanis is holding a “Show Me the Money” fundraiser tonight at 6 p.m. at the Amityville Beach. • The softball field at Amityville Memorial High School will be dedicated to the late teacher/coach/mentor Susan Amato, August 27th at 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friends and former students are welcomed to attend, and also play in a softball game in her memory. • A candlelight vigil will take place August 31st on the steps of Village Hall for Overdose Awareness. 3  Board of Trustees Minutes July 22, 2021 Meeting adjourned at 8:23 a.m. ______________________________________ Catherine C.
