Board of Trustees Minutes November 22, 2021 Meeting called to order at 7:30 p.m. MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Dennis Siry, Deputy Mayor Smith, Trustee Whalen, Trustee O’Neill, Trustee Brooks ALSO PRESENT: Village Attorney Bruce Kennedy Chief Bryan Burton Chief Robert Waegerle DPW Superintendent Bruce Hopper Clerk/Treasurer Catherine Murdock Assistant to the Mayor Wendy O’Neill Mayor Siry welcomed everyone to the Meeting and invited Chief Burton to conduct the Pledge of Allegiance. The applicant asked to withdraw his request for the beach location, in consideration of the neighbors whom he polled, and to limit the request to the Louden Ave. field. He also stated he has landscapers who might donate bushes/trees to cover the fence/banners. Mayor Siry advised that the Board would need to approve the advertisers in advance. MOTION to APPROVE was made by Trustee O’Neill and Deputy Mayor Smith with the stipulation that the Board gets to approve the advertisers in advance. The league must also take the banners down in the off season. The applicant and Board also agreed to speak with the Beautification Committee about the plantings he proposed.
