Board of Trustees Meeting Minutes January 23, 2023 Meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Dennis Siry, Deputy Mayor Smith, Trustee Whalen, Trustee O’Neill, Trustee Owen E. Murdock, Clerk/Treasurer Wendy O’Neill, Assistant to the Mayor Mayor Siry welcomed all in attendance and asked Chief Burton to lead the Pledge of Allegiance. Deputy Mayor Kevin Smith announced upcoming events: a Town of Babylon Court Room dedication, in North Amityville honoring the memory of the Hon. Toni Bean, Amityville resident and judge; the Mayor’s Social, to be held on March 5th, 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the Masonic Lodge. He also announced nominations for the Resident of Distinction award are due February 1st. He then offered condolences to the Caramanico family upon the passing of Anita Caramanico.
