Board of Trustees Special Meeting Minutes July 6, 2023 Meeting was called to order at 8:15 a.m. MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Dennis Siry, Deputy Mayor Smith, Trustee Michael O’Neill, Trustee Owen E. Murdock, Clerk/Treasurer Deputy Clerk/Treasurer Melanie Macomber Assistant to the Mayor Wendy O’Neill Special Outside Counsel Phil Siegel Mayor Siry welcomed everyone and invited Chief Burton to lead the Pledge of Allegiance. Deputy Mayor Smith announced upcoming events: the Babylon Solider Ride July 14th, starting at Babylon Town Hall and arriving in the Village at approximately 9:15 a.m; the Rotary Club’s Duck Race on August 5th at noon; the Farmers Market is ongoing on Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 9/11 Memorial Park. Also there will be no “Fridays on the Greene” event this week, however, “Suppers by the Bay” will continue to take place this Wednesday night at the beach.
