Board of Trustees Special Meeting Minutes July 11, 2024 The Board of Trustees Special Meeting was called to order at 8:15 a.m. MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Dennis Siry, Deputy Mayor Kevin Smith; Trustee Michael O’Neill, Trustee Roger Smith, Trustee Owen Brooks, Jr. MEMBERS ABSENT: ALSO PRESENT: Village Attorney Bruce Kennedy APD Chief Bryan Burton DPW Superintendent Bruce Hopper Building Inspector Michael Breitweg Clerk/Treasurer Catherine Murdock Assistant to the Mayor Wendy O’Neill Mayor Siry asked Chief Burton to lead everyone in the Pledge of Allegiance. Mayor Siry welcomed Property Owners Chris Geiger and Eddie Batz, 21 Greene Ave., to discuss their proposed Downtown Revitalization Initiative mixed use apartment project changes. They were asked to come to the August 25th Board of Trustees work session to discuss the project in greater detail and detail how they would mitigate the impact construction would have on neighboring businesses and the downtown.
