CALL TO ORDER Chair Traini convened the Spec!al Assembly Meeting of December 14, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. 2. ROLL CALL PRESENT: Dick Traini, Forrest Dunbar, Christopher Constant, Amy Demboski, Fred Dyson, Suzanne LaFrance, Pete Petersen, Felix Rivera, Tim Steele ABSENT: Eric Croft, John Weddleton A quorum was achieved with D 1\ssembly members present. Clerk's Note: Assembly Member Weddleton joined the meeting during executive session via telephonic participation . PRESENT: Dick Traini, Forrest Dunbar, Christopher Constant, Amy Demboski, Fred Dyson, Suzanne LaFrance, Pete Petersen, Felix Rivera, Tim Steele, John Weddleton EXCUSED: Eric Croft A quorum was achieved with 10 Assembly members present and Assembly Member Weddleton participating telephonically. 3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Assembly Member Petersen led the pledge. 4. ITEMS OF BUSINESS 4.A. Proposed Municipal Light & Power Transactions Christopher Constant t.oved, to go into executive session under the authority of AMC Tim Steele seconded, 1.25.005 with the following statement made by the Municipal Attorney: "The Administration is today Eeaking to apprise the Assembly of a potential transaction involving ML&P. Public disclosure of the anticipated terms and possible benefits of the transaction would at this time undermine the Municipality's bargaining position and likely cause an adverse effect upon the finances of the Municipality. The matter also involves confidential documents that by law are not subject to public disclosure. " and this motion PASSED 9 .. a. PRESENT: Dick Traini, Forrest Dunbar, Christopher Constant, Amy Demboski, Fred Dyson, Suzanne LaFrance, Pete Petersen , Felix Rivera, Tim Steele EXCUSED: Eric Croft, John Weddleton BECKY WINDT PEARSON, Municipal Attorney, spoke. Pete Petersen moved, that the recording of the executive session regarding Tim Steele seconded, Item 4.A. be kept confidential until the date of the closing of the completed transaction or until a period of two years from the date of this meeting if the transaction does not become complete and this motion PASSED 10-0.
