Mount, Councilmember Presley Boswell, Councilmember Terry Powell, Councilmember Mark Christensen, City Attorney ABSENT: Jeremy Craig, Councilmember The City Council of the City of Andalusia, Alabama, met in room 340 at City Hall for a work session at 5:30 p.m. for the purpose of planning and finalizing the agenda. REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING PRESENT: Earl V. Johnson, Mayor Joe Nix, Councilmember Kennith C. Mount, Councilmember  PAGE 2 Presley Boswell, Councilmember Terry Powell, Councilmember Mark Christensen, City Attorney ABSENT: Jeremy Craig, Councilmember APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Mayor Johnson presented the minutes from the regular meeting on May 19, 2026. Councilmember Mount moved to approve the minutes with a correction related to an appointment to the Housing Authority. Councilmember Nix seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. COUNCIL APPROVES SOURCEWELL BID TO REPLACE TURF AT MIRACLE LEAGUE FIELD AT JOHNSON PARK: Mayor Johnson announced that he has secured a $ 160,000 donation from PowerSouth to replace the artificial turf at the Miracle League Field at Johnson Park. Councilmember Powell moved to approve replacing the turf at Miracle League Field. Councilmember Boswell seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. COUNCIL APPROVES TO RESCHEDULE REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING: Mayor Johnson asked the council to reschedule its next regular Council meeting for June 17, 2026, at noon.
