City of Anderson Minutes of the Regular Meeting: December 18, 2014 Board of Public Works Special Meeting PRESENT: Pete Heuer, Chairman Michael Marsh Roger Clark, Member Brooke Parker Charlie Jones, Member Jason Fenwick Charlee Turner, Recording Secretary Miriam Jones Ashley Hopper, City Attorney Brad Land Ken de La Bastide APPROVAL OF MINUTES Meeting was called to order at 10:00 a.m. With no minutes prepared for approval at this time the Board moved to New Business. NEW BUSINESS A REQUEST TO APPROVE A CONTRACT FOR TWO HEAVY-DUTY TANDEM DUMP TRUCKS Street Commissioner Brad Land requests the Board accept the bid placed by Stoops Freightliner for the purchase of two heavy duty dump trucks in the amount of $167,252.00, as the company was the lowest responsible and responsive bidder. Member Clark moved to accept the bid. Member Jones seconds. Motion passes unanimously.
