City of Anderson Minutes of the Regular Meeting: January 12, 2016 Board of Public Works PRESENT: David W. Eicks, Chairman Mike Spyers Jack Keesling, Member Nara Manor Stacy Johnson, Administrative Assistant Alisha Cummings José Espinoza, Recorder Evan Broderick Ken de la Bastide Randy Warman CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order at 3:00 pm by Chairman David Eicks. APPROVAL OF MINUTES The minutes of the January 5, 2016 meeting were presented. Member Keesling made a motion to accept the minutes as presented. Chairman Eicks seconded. Motion passed unanimously. NEW BUSINESS: APPROVAL OF EMERGENCY REPAIRS CONTRACTOR Mike Spyers, City Engineer requested that the Board approve an Emergency Repairs Contractor list for 2016. Contractors include Watson’s Excavating, Inc., M.K. Betts Engineering & Contracting and Chuck Johnson, Inc. Member Keesling made a motion to approve the Contractor List. Chairman Eicks seconded. Motion passed unanimously. MISCELLANEOUS: NONE OLD BUSINESS: NONE APPROVAL OF CLAIMS With no further business coming before the Board, claims were presented in the amount of $8,346,322.87. Member Keesling made the motion to approve the published Claims. Chairman Eicks seconded. Motion passed unanimously.
