MINUTES ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION January 10, 2019 PUBLIC HEARING / MEETING Resolution EDC01-1 9 – A Resolution 4:30 p.m. Recommending Residential Tax Abatement for Conference Room #1 Michelle and Gary Marling, 4825 Main Street 120 East 8th Street Mr. Winkler briefed Commission Members on Anderson, IN 46016 Resolution EDC01-19 for residential tax abatement MEMBERS PRESENT for Michelle and Gary Marling, 4825 Main Street. Mr. Lance Stephenson, President Winkler stated the house was destroyed when an Lisa Hobbs, Vice President automobile ran into it. The current home will be Roger Reed demolished and a new home at a cost of $163,920.00 will be built. The request is for a six- MEMBERS ABSENT year tax abatement, as it is considered in-fill Bill Nagengast housing. Construction will commence before Mary Jamerson, Secretary/Treasurer December 31, 2018, for a single-family dwelling STAFF PRESENT intended for human habitation. Question and Tim Lanane, City Attorney answer time followed. Greg Winkler, Director Karen Soetenga, Economic Development Staff Mr. Reed moved to approve Resolution EDC01-19 for Michelle and Gary Marling, 4825 Main Street. OTHERS PRESENT Ms. Hobbs seconded. Motion passed unanimously; Mark Slayton, Deputy Director, ED 3 yes, 0 no. Brief discussion followed. Mr. and Mrs. Marling Mr. and Mrs. Osborne Resolution EDC0 2-19 A Resolution Recommending Residential Tax Abatement for ROLL CALL AND DECLARATION OF QUORUM Pamela and Ricky Osborne , 2609 Deer Creek Mr. Stephenson called the meeting to order at Drive 4:40 p.m. and declared a quorum with three (3) Mr. Winkler briefed Commission Members on members in attendance.
