MINUTES ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION October 10, 2019 PUBLIC MEETING concerns about the fence…part of the community, 4:30pm less institutional. New 120 East 8th Street property…just fence around the pond…w walking Anderson, IN 46016 pond with lights. Nice fencing..ornamental, will look nice. Asking for City support would like to make it MEMBERS PRESENT more uniform. Discussion followed. Mr. Winkler Lance Stephenson, President stated the 21M pass through conduent…revenue Lisa Hobbs, Vice President bond…up to company to sell…city no Roger Reed support/security…borrowing tax exempt status…sole Bill Nagengast contribution. MINUTES Ms. Hobbs moved to approve the August 8, 2019 minutes as presented. Mr. Nagengast seconded. Motion passed unanimously; 4 yes, 0 no. NEW BUSINESS EDC18-19 – A RESOLUTION OF THE ANDERSON ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING CERTAIN ACTIONS AND PROCEEDINGS WITH RESPECT TO CERTAIN PROPOSED ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT REVENUE BONDS (Sweet Galilee Project) Winkler…approving and authorizing…. Pass through bonds for a housing project…very much need…provide supportive housing for elderly accept Medicaid for payment. Gap in community. Makes it affordable, another option. Meaghan…market study proves it. Ready to close…last step. 130 units. 85 one bedroom, 45 studios. Three meals a day served. Includes fitness, theatre, game room, library, hair salon. Transportation. Assisted living…nursing staff on hand. Discussion followed. Mr. Nagengast
