MINUTES ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION June 11, 2020 PUBLIC HEARING Mr. Stephenson called the public meeting to order 4:30pm and declared a quorum with three (3) members in Via Zoom Conferencing attendance. PUBLIC MEETING MINUTES Immediately following Public Hearing Ms. Jamerson moved to approve the May 14, 2020 Via Zoom Conferencing minutes as presented. Mr. Reed seconded. Motion passed unanimously; 3 yes, 0 no. MEMBERS PRESENT Lance Stephenson, President NEW BUSINESS Mary Jamerson, Sec/Treas Roger Reed EDC10-20 - RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING RESIDENTIAL TAX STAFF PRESENT ABATEMENT FOR JEROME AND Greg Winkler, ED Director STEPHANIE SMITH – 2526 Doe Meadow Karen Soetenga, ED Staff Drive Paul Podlejski, City Attorney Mr. Winkler briefed members on Resolution EDC10- 20 a residential tax abatement for Jerome and OTHERS PRESENT Stephanie Smith. Mr. Winkler stated the address is Daphne Holtzleiter, Mustin Builders 2526 Doe Meadow Drive, Lot 26 in Deer Creek Jerome Smith, Tax Abatement Applicant Addition. The request is for a three-year tax Mike Leslie, Bridgenorth Homes abatement, as it is not considered in-fill housing. RECOMMENDING RESIDENTIAL TAX Mr. Winkler stated the address is 4814 Stratford ABATEMENT FOR MUSTIN BUILDERS – 210 Drive, Lot 191A in Southmain Village West Phase 3 Asbury Drive Addition. ADJOURNMENT Mr. Winkler stated the address is 212 Asbury Drive, Mr. Reed moved to adjourn the meeting and Ms. Lot 192A in Southmain Village West Phase 3 Jamerson seconded.
