Village of Angel Fire P.O. Box 610 Angel Fire, NM 87710 575-377-3232 Notice of Public Meeting Pedestrian Trails Committee Meeting Tuesday, May 1st, 2018 at 3:30 pm at Angel Fire Community Center I. Call to Order The meeting was called to order at 3:30 II. Pledge of Allegiance The pledge was recited by the Committee III. Roll Call In attendance-Randy Kaiser, Robin May, Brian Smith, Carolyn Smith, a quorum was established Absent-Katrina White, Diane Mereness, Bill Hughes IV. Approval of Agenda Motion made to approve the agenda by Randy, Carolyn seconded it, and it passed unanimously V. Approval of Minutes from the February 12, 2018 and December, 2017 Meetings Motion made to approve the minutes from the February 12th, 2018 and the December, 2017 meetings by Randy, Robin seconded it, passed unanimously VI. Old Business A. Frank Young Trail Extension Update Robin stated Dan Rakes and Resort are ok with trail with a contract of some sort stating if development occurs it can be moved or rerouted Brain showed new GPS for trail B. Update on Cougar Trail Brian spoke to Patrick West about the marks on for the trail and that they keep disappearing. Patrick said they would like to start in July and end in Aug. Needs a lot of clearing C. Earth Day Cleanup of Village Trails (Saturday, April 21st) Brian stated N side is done, but S side is still bad. VIII. New Business A. Recommended location for new signage on Village Trails Brian went over proposed Village signage. Brian motioned to approve the proposed signage, Robin seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously B. Brochures Brian made a recommended to have a reprint of 3,000 or more by the Village, Randy motioned to reprint, Carolyn seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously. Shay and Patrick will work together with Brandy to get updated trails and maps VIIII. Reports & Updates A. Sendero North: Earth Day Proposed Cleanup B. Sendero South Still needs work, maybe Angel Fire Proud can organize a pick up? C. Bobcat-No issues at this time D. Sage Downed tree at powerline and Sage E. Lady Slipper Post needs replaced by Resort G. Parking-No issues at this time H. AAFPO Wooden bridges on trails need fixed X. Requests and Responses from the Audience-None XI. Next Meeting Date and Adjournment-Brian motioned to adjourn at 4:47, Carolyn seconded motion, passed unanimously. Next meeting scheduled for June 13, 2018, 3:30 at the AFCC Agenda may be picked up at the Village Hall, 3388 Mountain View Blvd., Angel Fire, NM 87710.
