Larcom, Jr. Building, 2nd Floor Council Chambers, 301 E. Huron Street. Kristen Vander Lugt, Office Manager, was also present. ROLL CALL Present: 2- Steve Gerhart, and Matt Thomas Absent: 4- Jacqueline Beaudry, Michael Cox, Atleen Kaur, and Jason Forsberg APPROVAL OF AGENDA A motion was made by Thomas, seconded by Alternate Chair Gerhart, that the Agenda be approved as presented. On a voice vote, the Alternate Chair declared the motion carried. PUBLIC COMMENT None. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 22-1175 Election Commission Meeting Minutes of March 4, 2022 A motion was made by Thomas, seconded by Alternate Chair Gerhart, that the Election Commission Minutes of March 4, 2022 be approved by the Commission and forwarded to the City Council by 10/17/2022. On a voice vote, the Alternate Chair declared the motion carried. NEW BUSINESS City of Ann Arbor Page 1 Election Commission Meeting Minutes - Final July 12, 2022 22-1179 Election Inspector Appointments for the August 2, 2022 Primary Election Steve Gerhart, Chief Deputy City Clerk, reviewed the election inspector assignments with the Commission. A motion was made by Thomas, seconded by Gerhart, that the Resolution be approved by the Commission. On a voice vote, the Alternate Chair declared the motion carried. 22-1180 Public Accuracy and Logic Test of the Voting Equipment to be used for the August 2, 2022 Primary Election Steve Gerhart, Chief Deputy City Clerk, preformed the public accuracy and logic test of the voting equipment for the upcoming August 2, 2022 election. Deputy Chief Steve Gerhart conducted the public accuracy and logic test of the voting equipment to be used in the August Primary election. 22-1176 Resolution Delegating Certain Duties of the Election Commission to the City Clerk or Authorized Assistant A motion was made by Thomas, seconded by Gerhart, that the Resolution be approved by the Commission. On a voice vote, the Alternate Chair declared the motion carried. UNFINISHED BUSINESS None. INFORMATION/UPCOMING BUSINESS None.
