On a voice vote, the Chair declared the motion carried. BUSINESS CIP Committee Report (BRADLEY PARSONS) Bradley Parsons provided a report of the June 8, 2018 CIP Committee meeting. Requested a staff update: - Bike lanes through the intersection south of Stadium - Investigate the feasibility of advisory bike lanes - Reconsider the Madison and Seventh stop sign 18-1069 Seventh Street Questions - CIP Committee Received and Filed Traffic Calming Program Update Presentation (KAYLA COLEMAN, JP MANSOLF AND CYNTHIA REDINGER) Kayla Coleman, Cynthia Redinger and JP Mansolf provided a presentation of the proposed Traffic Calming Program updates. On a voice vote, the Chair declared the motion carried. Transportation Plan Update Presentation (ELI COOPER) Eli Cooper provided a summary of the Transportation Plan Update consultant selction process. Transportation Plan Update Q&A and Action (LINDA DIANE FELDT) Commissioners provided questions and comments. Vice Chair Robert Gordon shared his experience participating in the consultant interviews and selection process. 18-1078 Transportation Commission Recommendation for A Vision Zero Transportation Plan Update A motion was made by Parsons, seconded by Sims, that Resolution to Recommend that City Council Initiate the Process to Update the Vision Zero Oriented Transportation Plan update be Approved by the Commission and forwarded to the City Council and should be returned by 7/16/2018. On a voice vote, the Chair declared the motion carried. A No Vote was made by Commissioner Naheedy. City of Ann Arbor Page 3 Transportation Commission Meeting Minutes June 20, 2018 INFORMATION AND DISCUSSION Capital Improvements Plan (CIP)(DEB GOSSELIN) Deb Gosselin discussed the upcoming CIP update and opportunity for Commission input on CIP Projects. 18-1059 Capital Improvements Plan Transportation Projects Received and Filed CIP Questions and Feedback (LINDA DIANE FELDT) Commissioner questions and Comments included: - Julie Boland, prioritization model ranking - Bradley Parsons, opportunity for Traffic Calming Program and active transportation in CIP AAATA/The Ride Service and Millage Discussion (MATT CARPENTER) Matt Carpenter (AAATA) provided a presentation of AAATA service and the upcoming Millage renewal.
