Larcom, Jr. Building, 2nd Floor Council Chambers, 301 E. Huron Street. ROLL CALL (KAYLA COLEMAN) Kayla Coleman called the roll. Non-voting Commission members: Sergeant Bill Clock, Raymond Hess, Howard Lazarus Non-voting Commission members absent: Steve Dolen, Liz Margolis, Matt Webb. Commissioner Parsons arrived at 7:10 p.m. Present: 8- Linda Diane Feldt, Bradley Parsons, Timothy Hull, Julie Boland, Molly Kleinman, Kathy Griswold, Deanna Lernihan, and James Summers Absent: 2- Tim Sanderson, and Wendy Woods APPROVAL OF CONSENT AGENDA (LINDA DIANE FELDT) Approval of Minutes 20-0020 December 2019 Meeting Minutes A motion was made by Kleinman, seconded by Boland, that the Consent Agenda be Approved by the Commission and the Minutes forwarded to the City Council and should be returned by 2/18/2020. On a unanimous voice vote, the Chair declared the motion carried. Resurfacing, D2A2 Express Commuter Bus Service Detroit to Ann Arbor, Thanks to Linda Diane Feldt (Chair) INFORMATION AND DISCUSSION 2020 Street Resurfacing and Related Projects (DAVE DYKMAN) Commissioner questions and comments included: - Street lighting for new crosswalks - Prioritization process for street resurfacing - Community engagement/public input process for project areas - Path resurfacing along S. Main, safety and best practices at driveway locations - Granger coordination - resurfacing, traffic calming, parking pilot etc. - E. Stadium bike lanes 20-0022 2020 Street Resurfacing and Related Projects Received and Filed BUSINESS 2019 Annual Report (KAYLA COLEMAN) 19-2397 2019 Transportation Commission Annual Report A motion was made by Parsons, seconded by Kleinman, that the Transportation Commission 2019 Annual Report be Approved by the Commission and forwarded to the City Council and should be returned by 2/18/2020. On a unanimous voice vote, the Chair declared the motion carried. City of Ann Arbor Page 2 Transportation Commission Meeting Minutes - Final January 15, 2020 Statewide Crosswalk Law Commission Recommendations (MOLLY KLEINMAN) 20-0021 Statewide Crosswalk Law Transportation Commission Recommendations A motion was made by Parsons, seconded by Boland, that the Statewide Crosswalk Law Commission Recommendations be Approved by the Commission and forwarded to the City Council and should be returned by 2/18/2020. On a voice vote, the Chair declared the motion carried, with a No vote by Councilmember Griswold. Chair and Vice Chair Elections (LINDA DIANE FELDT) A motion was made by Parsons, seconded by Councilmember Griswold, to Approve the election of Kleinman as Chair and Boland as Vice Chair. On a unanimous voice vote, the Chair declared the motion carried.
