Received and Filed APPROVAL OF CONSENT AGENDA (MOLLY KLEINMAN) Approval of Agenda City of Ann Arbor Page 1 Transportation Commission Meeting Minutes November 18, 2020 Approval of Minutes 20-1718 October 2020 Meeting Minutes A motion was made by Feldt, seconded by Hautamaki, that the Consent Agenda be Approved by the Commission and the Minutes be forwarded to the City Council and should be returned by 12/14/2020. On a unanimous voice vote, the Chair declared the motion carried. PUBLIC COMMENT (MOLLY KLEINMAN) 20-1760 Public Communications November 2020 Received and Filed BUSINESS Comprehensive Transportation Plan Update (ELI COOPER & STACEY MEEKINS) Comprehensive Transportation Plan Recommendation (MOLLY KLEINMAN) 20-1564 Comprehensive Transportation Plan Materials Commissioner questions and comments included: • AAATA routes, schedule • Walkability • Speed limits • Transportation Commission role - additional bike routes • Bike route targets • Equity • Project prioritization, asset management • Review and adoption process A motion was made by Boland, seconded by Councilmember Briggs, that the Transportation Commission Recommends that the Planning Commission and City Council authorize distribution of the draft A2 Moving Together Toward Vision Zero Transportation Plan to adjoining jurisdictions and stakeholders in accordance with the City of Ann Arbor Page 2 Transportation Commission Meeting Minutes November 18, 2020 Michigan Municipal Planning Act (PA-33 of 2008) and Chapter 8 of the Ann Arbor Code of Ordinances and that this Recommendation be Referred to the City Planning Commission and should be returned by 12/1/2020. On a unanimous voice vote, the Chair declared the motion carried. 2021 Meeting Dates Calendar (KAYLA COLEMAN) 20-1725 2021 Meeting Dates Calendar Commissioner questions and comments included: • Meeting space - potential future in-person meetings A motion was made by Hull, seconded by Hautamaki, that the 2021 Transportation Commission Calendar of Meeting Dates be Approved. On a unanimous voice vote, the Chair declared the motion carried.
