160 Duke Of Gloucester City of Annapolis Street Annapolis, MD 21401 Special Minutes - Final City Council Thursday, May 21, 2020 3:00 PM Mayor John T. Chambers, Jr. City Council Chambers Virtual Meeting A virtual meeting is when people, regardless of their location, use video and audio to link up online. Virtual Meetings allow people to share information and data in real-time without being physically located together. Call to Order Mayor Buckley called the Special Virtual Meeting to order at 3:00 pm. Pledge of Allegiance Led by Mayor Buckley. Roll Call Present: 6 - Mayor Buckley, Alderwoman Tierney, Alderman Paone, Alderwoman Finlayson, Alderman Savidge and Alderman Arnett Absent: 3 - Alderwoman Pindell Charles, Alderman Rodriguez and Alderman Gay Business and Miscellaneous ID-143-20 Annotated Code of Maryland, General Provisions Article, and Section 3-305. Closed Sessions, (b) (1) to discuss the compensation of appointees and employees, (7) To obtain legal advice on legal matters; (8) To consult with consultant; (9) To consider matters that relate to the negotiations. Discussion Topic: To discuss a personnel matter with counsel. Alderman Paone moved to move pursuant to Annotated Code of Maryland, General Provisions Article § 3-305 (b) (1), (7), (8) and (9) to go into closed session. Seconded. A roll call vote was taken. The motion CARRIED by the following vote: Aye: 6 - Mayor Buckley, Alderwoman Tierney, Alderman Paone, Alderwoman Finlayson, Alderman Savidge and Alderman Arnett Absent: 3 - Alderwoman Pindell Charles, Alderman Rodriguez and Alderman Gay The council entered in the closed session at 3:05 p.m. The council exited in the closed session at 4:08 p.m. Adjournment City of Annapolis Page 1 City Council Special Minutes - Final May 21, 2020 Upon motion duly made, seconded and adopted, the meeting was adjourned at 4:10 p.m. Regina C.
