Special Meeting - Proposed Closed Session
Call to Order
Mayor Buckley called the Special Meeting to order at 10:03 am.
Pledge of Allegiance
Led by Mayor Buckley.
Roll Call
Alderwoman Finlayson attended the Special City Council Meeting Virtually.
Present: 7 - Mayor Buckley, Alderwoman Tierney, Alderman Paone, Alderwoman Pindell Charles,
Alderwoman Finlayson, Alderman Savidge and Alderman Arnett
Absent: 1 - Alderman Gay
Business and Miscellaneous
ID-222-20 Pursuant to the Annotated Code of Maryland, General Provisions Article §
3-305(b) (7). Is a request to hold a Closed Session to consult with counsel to
obtain legal advice.
Alderman Arnett move to enter a closed session pursuant to Annotated Code of Maryland,
General Provisions Article § 3-305 (b) (7), to discuss the Housing Authority of the City of
Annapolis "HACA" Litigation. Seconded. A roll call vote was taken. The motion CARRIED by
the following vote:
Aye: 7 - Mayor Buckley, Alderwoman Tierney, Alderman Paone, Alderwoman Pindell Charles,
Alderwoman Finlayson, Alderman Savidge and Alderman Arnett
Absent: 2 - Rodriguez and Alderman Gay
The council entered into the closed session at 10:07 am.
Alderman Paone moved to exit out of Closed Session. Seconded. CARRIED on voice vote.
The council exited the closed session and returned to the Special Meeting at 11:44 am.
Adjournment
Upon motion duly made, seconded and adopted, the meeting was adjourned at 11:44 a.m.
