O-32-14 Forest Conservation Requirements and Standards in the City of Annapolis
- For the purpose of adopting requirements and standards for forest
conservation in the City of Annapolis; providing forest stand delineation
and forest conservation plan requirements; providing exceptions to
Chapter 17.13 of the City Code; providing for variance procedures; and all
other matters generally relating to forest conservation in the City of
Annapolis.

O-37-14 Lease of City Property to Chesapeake Children’s Museum - For the
purpose of approving a lease between the City of Annapolis and the
Chesapeake Children’s Museum for a portion of the City-owned building
located at 25 Silopanna Road, Annapolis, Maryland; and all other matters
related to said lease with the Chesapeake Children’s Museum.

Assistant City Attorney Leonard gave an overview of the legislation. Department of
Neighborhood and Environmental Programs Director Broadbent was present and
answered questions from the committee. Roy Wood, Secretary, representing Board of
Directors for Chesapeake Children's Museum, 25 Silopanna Road, Annapolis, Maryland
21401 was present and answered questions from the committee.

Lease between KDBA, LLC and the City of Annapolis for the use of
non-city-owned property by the City of Annapolis.

City Manager Andrews gave an overview of the legislation. Public Works Director Jarrell
was present and answered questions from the committee. Assistant City Attorney
Leonard gave a brief presentation on the contract negotiations.
Alderwoman Finlayson moved to recommend favorably. Seconded. CARRIED on
voice vote.
