Alderman Budge moved to approve the May 10, 2016 journal as amended to
reflect the corrected spelling of "DiVenti". Seconded. CARRIED on voice vote.

3. Legislation before Committee
O-20-16 Title 17 Updates and Amendments - For the purpose of updating and
amending Chapters 17.04 and 17.08 of the Annapolis City Code to
prohibit the use and sale of coal tar pavement products; and matters
generally relating to prohibiting the use and sale of coal tar pavement
products.

Department of Neighborhood and Environmental Programs Director Broadbent gave a
brief overview of the legislation and answered questions from the committee.
Alderwoman Finlayson moved to recommend favorably. Seconded. CARRIED on
voice vote.

R-01-16 Comprehensive Maritime Review - For the purpose of conducting a
comprehensive economic and zoning review of all maritime zones.

Alderman Budge moved to recommend R-01-16 with the following amendments.
Amendment #1 Page 2, line 7 following "that" insert: "before the end of May
2016." and Page 2, lines 7-8 strike: "and complete on or before May 15, 2016."
Amendment #2 Page 2, line 11 append: "Thereafter the Director shall report to
the City Council and Planning Commission the status of the ongoing study on a
semi annual basis." Seconded. CARRIED on voice vote.
