Call To Order Alderman Rodriguez called the meeting to order at 9:16 a.m. 2. Roll Call Present: 3- Rodriguez, Finlayson and Savidge 3. Business before Committee Closed Session Statement: Pursuant to the requirement of the Annotated Code of Maryland, General Provisions Article, § 3-305(b) (14) this statement is included in these minutes: A joint closed session of the Economic Matters, Rules and City Government and Finance Committees was held on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the Mayor John T. Chamber, Jr., City Council Chamber, 160 Duke of Gloucester Street, 2nd Floor, Annapolis, Maryland 21401 Members who voted to meet in the Close Session: Alderman Rodriguez, Alderwoman Finlayson, Alderman Savidge and Alderman Arnett Persons attending the Closed Session: Alderwoman Tierney, Alderman Paone, Alderwoman Pindell Charles, City Manager Andrews, Assistant City Attorney Leonard, City Clerk Watkins-Eldridge, City Council Associate Greene, Business Manager Beauchamp, Procurement Officer Snyder, Finance Director Miller, Finance Operations Manager Pletzer, and Outside Legal Counsel Sussman. A roll call vote was taken by the members present, and the session was closed. The authority under which the session was closed was the Annotated Code of Maryland, General Provisions Article, § 3-305(b) (14) the purpose of the meeting was to discuss the contents of the proposal from New Market, LLC No votes were taken in the closed session. Upon motion duly made, seconded and adopted, the closed session was adjourned at 1:26 p.m. a. Approval of Minutes ECM012518 Approval of Minutes for the Regular Meeting Alderwoman Finlayson moved to approve. Seconded. A roll call vote was taken. The motion CARRIED by the following vote: Aye: 3- Rodriguez, Finlayson and Savidge b. ID-17-18 Joint Proposed Closed Session - In accordance with Annotated Code of Maryland, General Provisions Article § 3-305(b) (14). Disclosure of the topic to be discussed for citation selected: The contents of the proposal from New Market, LLC. City of Annapolis Page 1 Economic Matters Committee Standing Committee Minutes January 30, 2018 Alderwoman Finlayson moved to hold a closed meeting of the Economic Matters Committee on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 immediately following this meeting in accordance with Annotated Code of Maryland, General Provisions Article§ 3-305(b) (14). . Seconded. A roll call vote was taken. The motion CARRIED by the following vote: Aye: 3- Rodriguez, Finlayson and Savidge The committee entered into the colosed session at 9:21 a.m. Alderman Arnett moved to adjourn the closed session at 1:26 p.m. 4. Legislation before Committee O-5-18 Lease of the Market House - New Market, LLC - For the purpose of authorizing the lease of the Market House to New Market, LLC, the Master Tenant for a certain period of time, subject to certain terms, provisions and conditions; and matters generally relating to said lease.
