Alderwoman Finlayson called the meeting to order at 10:21 a.m.

Arnett moved to approve. Seconded. A roll call vote was taken. The motion
CARRIED by the following vote:
Aye: 3- Finlayson, Savidge and Arnett
b. ID-17-18 Joint Proposed Closed Session - In accordance with Annotated Code of
Maryland, General Provisions Article § 3-305(b) (14). Disclosure of the topic
to be discussed for citation selected: The contents of the proposal from New
Market, LLC.
Arnett moved to hold a closed meeting of the Rules and City Government
Committee on Thursday, January 25, 2018 immediately following this meeting
in accordance with Annotated Code of Maryland, General Provisions Article§
3-305(b) (14). Seconded. A roll call vote was taken. The motion CARRIED by
the following vote:
Aye: 3- Finlayson, Savidge and Arnett
The Rules and City Government Committee entered into closed session at
10:28 a.m.
The Rules and City Government Committee adjourned the closed session at
3:01 p.m.
4. Legislation before Committee
O-5-18 Lease of the Market House - New Market, LLC - For the purpose of
authorizing the lease of the Market House to New Market, LLC, the Master Tenant
for a certain period of time, subject to certain terms, provisions and conditions; and
matters generally relating to said lease.
No Action Taken.
5. Adjournment
Alderman Arnett moved to adjourn the Special Meeting of the Rules and City
Government Committee at 3:03 p.m.
