Chairman Pfeiffer called the meeting to order at 3:22 p.m.

2. Legislation before Committee
O-37-14 Lease of City Property to Chesapeake Children’s Museum - For the
purpose of approving a lease between the City of Annapolis and the
Chesapeake Children’s Museum for a portion of the City-owned building
located at 25 Silopanna Road, Annapolis, Maryland; and all other matters
related to said lease with the Chesapeake Children’s Museum.

Assistant Attorney leonard gave a brief overview on the legislation.

Assistant Attorney Leonard gave a brief overview on the status of Stanton Center
Leases. Director Miller answered questions from the Committee. Stanton Center Manager
Trader addressed the Committee.
Alderman Arnett moved to recommend favorably. Seconded. CARRIED on voice
vote.

Alderman Paone moved to recommend favorably the appointment of Alderman
Pfeiffer as the Chair of the Finance Committee. Seconded. Carried on voice vote.
Aye: 2- Alderman Arnett and Alderman Paone
Abstain: 1- Alderman Pfeiffer
5. Proposed Close Session
Alderman Arnett moved to exit the open meeting and enter into a closed session
at 4:01 p.m. Pursuant to State Government Article 3-305 (b) (3). Seconded.
CARRIED on voice vote.
Aye: 3- Alderman Pfeiffer, Alderman Arnett and Alderman Paone
Alderman Pfeiffer moved to exit out of Closed Session at 5:10 p.m.. Seconded.

Compromise Street - For the purpose of expressing the sense of the
Annapolis City Council’s consideration of acquiring the land and
improvements located at 110 Compromise Street for a purchase price of
$4,500,000.
