Call To Order Chairman Pfeiffer called the meeting to order at 3:22 p.m. Rollcall Present: 3- Alderman Pfeiffer, Alderman Arnett and Alderman Paone 2. Legislation before Committee O-37-14 Lease of City Property to Chesapeake Children’s Museum - For the purpose of approving a lease between the City of Annapolis and the Chesapeake Children’s Museum for a portion of the City-owned building located at 25 Silopanna Road, Annapolis, Maryland; and all other matters related to said lease with the Chesapeake Children’s Museum. Aye: 3- Alderman Pfeiffer, Alderman Arnett and Alderman Paone ID-492-15 Move City Facilities This Informational Item was postpone ID-481-15 Finance Committee Chair Election/Meeting Dates Alderman Paone moved to recommend favorably the appointment of Alderman Pfeiffer as the Chair of the Finance Committee. Seconded. Carried on voice vote. Aye: 2- Alderman Arnett and Alderman Paone Abstain: 1- Alderman Pfeiffer 5. Proposed Close Session Alderman Arnett moved to exit the open meeting and enter into a closed session at 4:01 p.m. Pursuant to State Government Article 3-305 (b) (3). Seconded. CARRIED on voice vote. Aye: 3- Alderman Pfeiffer, Alderman Arnett and Alderman Paone Alderman Pfeiffer moved to exit out of Closed Session at 5:10 p.m.. Seconded. CARRIED on voice vote. Aye: 3- Alderman Pfeiffer, Alderman Arnett and Alderman Paone 6. Legislation before Committee City of Annapolis Page 2 Finance Committee Standing Committee Minutes January 8, 2015 R-32-14 Considering the Acquisition of Land and Improvements Located at 110 Compromise Street - For the purpose of expressing the sense of the Annapolis City Council’s consideration of acquiring the land and improvements located at 110 Compromise Street for a purchase price of $4,500,000.
