Chairman Arnett called the meeting to order at 10:23 a.m.
2. Roll Call
Present: 3- Alderman Arnett, Alderman Rodriguez and Alderman Finlayson

a. Approval of Minutes

Alderman Arnett moved to approve. Seconded. A roll call vote was taken.
The motion CARRIED by the following vote:
Aye: 3- Alderman Arnett, Alderman Rodriguez and Alderman Finlayson
b. ID-17-18 Joint Proposed Closed Session - In accordance with Annotated Code of
Maryland, General Provisions Article § 3-305(b) (14). Disclosure of the topic
to be discussed for citation selected: The contents of the proposal from New
Market, LLC.
Arnett moved to hold a closed meeting of the Rules and City Government
Committee on Thursday, January 25, 2018 immediately following this meeting
in accordance with Annotated Code of Maryland, General Provisions Article§
3-305(b) (14). Seconded. A roll call vote was taken. The motion CARRIED by
the following vote:
Aye: 3- Alderman Arnett, Alderman Rodriguez and Alderman Finlayson
The Finance Committee entered into closed session at 10:30 a.m.
The Finance Committee adjourned the closed session at 3:03 p.m.
4. Legislation before Committee
O-5-18 Lease of the Market House - New Market, LLC - For the purpose of
authorizing the lease of the Market House to New Market, LLC, the Master Tenant
for a certain period of time, subject to certain terms, provisions and conditions; and
matters generally relating to said lease.
No action was taken.
5. Adjournment
Alderwoman Finlayson moved to adjourn the meeting of the Finance Committee
at 3:05 p.m.
