Chambers, Jr. City Council Chambers Finance Committee Finance Committee Standing Committee Minutes April 20, 2018 1. Call To Order Chairman Arnett called the meeting to order at 10:06 a.m. 2. Roll Call Present: 3- Alderman Arnett, Alderman Rodriguez and Alderman Finlayson 3. Business before Committee Police Captain Amoia was present and answered questions the committee had about the CAD system from the previous night's meeting. Procurement Officer Snyder, Acting MIT Director Smith and Alderwoman Tierney were present and answered questions from the committee. a. Approval of Minutes FC041918-S Approval of Minutes for the Regular Meeting PECIAL Alderwoman Finlayson moved to approve. Seconded. A roll call vote was taken. The motion CARRIED by the following vote: Aye: 3- Alderman Arnett, Alderman Rodriguez and Alderman Finlayson ID-120-18 Departmental Reviews: Human Resources Follow Up Mayor's Office Chief of Staff Hruska and City Manager Sutherland were present and answered questions from the committee. Recommendation from the Finance Committee: Deputy City Manager position and maybe an administrative position for support for the City Manager. Office of Environmental Policy Office of Environmental Policy Acting Director Hodo, Environmentalist/Urban Forester Adams and Jackie Guild were present and answered questions from the committee. Alderman Savidge, Finance Operations Manager Pletzer were present and answered questions from the committee. Alderwoman Finlayson requested an Organizational Chart from the Department to be forwarded to Finance Operations Manager Pletzer for distribution. Human Resources Acting Manager Hopkins and City Manager Sutherland were present and answered questions from the committee. MIT Acting MIT Manager Smith and City Manager Sutherland were present and answered questions from the committee. Chairman Arnett requested an Organizational Chart from the department. Purchasing Procurement Office Snyder and City Manager Sutherland were present and answered questions from the committee. Alderwoman Finlayson requested an Organizational Chart.
