Call To Order 10:04 a.m. Chairwoman Finlayson called the meeting to order at 10:04 a.m. 2. Roll Call Alderwoman Tierney was present as a voting member of the Finance Committee in the absence of Alderman Arnett and Alderman Paone. Present: 1- Alderwoman Finlayson Absent: 2- Alderman Arnett and Alderman Paone 4. Business before Committee b. ID-458-19 Department of Recreation and Parks Recreation and Parks Director Trader, Finance Director Dickinson, Recreational Division Chief Owens, Harbormaster Bellis, and Community Health Fitness and Health Supervisor Jennings were present and answered questions from the committee. Alderwoman Finlayson would like to prepare an amendment to increase Recs & Parks Health and Fitness & Wellness' budget. Alderwoman Tierney moved to postpone. Seconded. A roll call vote was taken. The motion CARRIED by the following vote: Aye: 1- Alderwoman Finlayson Absent: 2- Alderman Arnett and Alderman Paone c. ID-459-19 Department of Transportation Transportation Director Gordon, Deputy Director Agyemang-Duah, and Finance Director Dickinson were present and answered questions from the committee. Alderwoman Tierney moved to recommend favorably. Seconded. A roll call vote was taken. Tierney) s and c Public Works - Motion to rec fav DPW Budget tentatively until Ald. Tierney reviews her amendment tomorrow. (Ald. Tierney) s and c Meeting went into Recess Meeting Reconvened Alderwoman Tierney moved to recommend favorably the following department budgets: Finance Department, Planning & Zoning, Police, Fire (pending a breakdown of the salary and benefits and contractual services and all budget items increase for the full Council, and Public Works (tentatively until Alderwoman Tierney reviews her amendment tomorrow).
