Chambers, Jr. City Council Chambers Finance Committee Finance Committee Standing Committee Minutes January 8, 2020 1. Call To Order Chairman Arnett called the meeting to order at 10:29 a.m. 2. Roll Call Alderman Paone arrived at 10:32 a.m. Present: 3- Alderman Arnett, Alderman Paone and Alderwoman Finlayson 3. Approval of Agenda (any changes to the agenda should be made here) Remove CM-4-20, CM-5-20, Add SA-23-20 Alderwoman Finlayson moved to adopt the Regular Meeting Agenda as amended. Seconded. A roll call vote was taken. The motion CARRIED by the following vote: Aye: 2- Alderman Arnett and Alderwoman Finlayson Absent: 1- Alderman Paone 4. Business before Committee a. Approval of Minutes FC12.04.19 Approval of Minutes for the Regular Meeting Alderwoman Finlayson moved to approve. Seconded. A roll call vote was taken. The motion CARRIED by the following vote: Aye: 2- Alderman Arnett and Alderwoman Finlayson Absent: 1- Alderman Paone b. Supplemental Appropriations SA-22-20 Fire Revenue: County Operating Grants ($6,021.00); Expenditure: Supplies ($6,021.00) Finance Director Dickinson was present and answered questions from the committee. Alderwoman Finlayson moved to recommend favorably. Seconded. A roll call vote was taken. The motion CARRIED by the following vote: Aye: 2- Alderman Arnett and Alderwoman Finlayson Absent: 1- Alderman Paone SA-23-20 DPW - Capital Projects City of Annapolis Page 1 Finance Committee Standing Committee Minutes January 8, 2020 Revenue: General Roadways ($274,869.00) Expenditure: General Roadways ($274,869.00) Finance Director Dickinson, Public Works Deputy Director Patrick, and Civil Engineer Feight were present and answered questions from the committee. Alderwoman Finlayson moved to recommend favorably. Seconded. A roll call vote was taken. The motion CARRIED by the following vote: Aye: 3- Alderman Arnett, Alderman Paone and Alderwoman Finlayson 5. General Discussion c. Update from the Finance Director Finance Director Dickinson and City Attorney Lyles were present and answered questions from the committee. 6.
