Chambers, Jr. City Council Chambers Finance Committee Finance Committee Standing Committee Meeting October 2, 2024 Minutes - Final Call To Order Alderman Huntley called the Regular Meeting to order at 10:31 am. Roll Call Present: 3- Alderwoman Finlayson, Alderwoman O'Neill and Alderman Huntley Approval of Agenda (any changes to the agenda should be made here) Alderwoman Finlayson moved to approve the Regular Meeting agenda. Seconded. CARRIED on voice vote. Business and Miscellaneous Approval of Minutes FC 9.18.24 Regular Meeting Minutes Attachments: FC 9.18.24 Alderwoman O'Neill moved to approve FC 9.18.24. Seconded. CARRIED on voice vote. Legislation O-11-24 Tenant Displacement Fund - For the purpose of establishing a fund for providing assistance to tenants who are displaced when rental units are deemed unfit for human habitation by the City; basing funding for tenants on specific criteria; and generally related to emergency housing needs in the City of Annapolis. Sponsors: Gay Attachments: O-11-24 First Reader O-11-24 Legislative Summary O-11-24 Staff Report O-11-24 Fiscal Impact Note Assistant City Manager Buckland and Finance Director Dickinson were present to answer questions from the committee. Alderwoman Finlayson moved to postpone O-11-24 until the next meeting October 16th, 2024. Seconded. CARRIED on voice vote. Alderwoman Finlayson requested the Finance Department submit a report to the City Council Associate prior to the Finance Committee meeting.
