O-36-15 Adequate Public Facilities - For the purpose of adding review criteria and
certification for adequate school facilities to Title 22 of the Code of the City
of Annapolis; and matters generally relating to the adequacy of school
facilities.

Alderman Littmann moved to recommend as amended. Seconded. CARRIED on
voice vote.

R-31-15 Rental Unit Licenses - For the purpose of waiving fees associated with the
licensure and inspection of HACA residential rental units.

Elizabeth Kinney, 10 Hudson Street, Annapolis, Maryland 21401 Executive Director of
Lighthouse Shelter spoke on the signed Memorandum of Understanding between the
Light House Shelter and The Housing Authority City of Annapolis.
Alderman Budge moved to postpone. Seconded. CARRIED on voice vote.

4. General Discussion
ID-26-16 The Amendment of FY 2016 Action Plan

Chief of Community Development Wellman gave a presentation on the discussion topic
and answered questions from the committee. Stanton Community Center Manager Trader
was present and spoke regarding funds for the Stanton Center. Elizabeth Kinney, 10
Hudson Street, Annapolis, Maryland 21401 Executive Director representing the
Lighthouse Shelter spoke on FY 2015 action plan amendment and answered questions
from the committee. Planning and Zoning Director Gutwald briefly addressed the
committee regarding the administrations allocations in the amendment and answered
questions from the committee. Kate Rollason, 413 Jefferson Street, Annapolis, Maryland
21403 representing the Housing and Community Development Committee spoke on the
American's with Disability Act (ADA) Regulations and answered questions from the
committee.
Alderman Littmann moved to approve. Seconded. CARRIED on voice vote.

ID-36-16 Annual Standing Committee Chair Election
Alderman Littmann moved to confirm Alderman Kirby as Chair of the Housing
and Human Welfare Committee.. Seconded. CARRIED on voice vote.

5. Adjournment
Upon motion duly made, seconded and adopted, the meeting was adjourned at
8:21 p.m.
