Chairman Gay called the meeting to order at 6:37 p.m.

Absent: 1- Alderwoman Tierney
Approval of Agenda (any changes to the agenda should be made here)
Alderman Schandelmeier moved to adopt the Regular Meeting Agenda. The
motion carried by the following vote:
Aye: 2- Chairperson Gay and Alderman Schandelmeier
Absent: 1- Alderwoman Tierney

Alderman Schandelmeier moved to approve the minutes for the Regular
Meeting. Seconded. A roll call vote was taken. The motion CARRIED by the
following vote:

AP-2-21 The Appointment of Kathy Ebner to the Affordable Housing and Community
Equity Development Commission
Kathy Ebner was present and answered questions from the Committee.
Alderman Schandelmeier moved to recommend favorably AP-2-21.
Seconded. A roll call vote was taken. The motion CARRIED by the following
vote:

Absent: 1- Alderwoman Tierney
AP-4-21 The Appointment of India Ochs to the Education Commission
India Ochs was present and answered questions from the Committee.

Seconded. A roll call vote was taken. The motion CARRIED by the following

Alderman Schandelmeier moved to recommend favorably ID-29-21. Seconded. A
roll call vote was taken. The motion CARRIED by the following vote:

Absent: 1- Alderwoman Tierney
3. Legislation before Committee
O-50-20 Moderately Priced Dwelling Unit - For the purpose of updating certain occupancy
periods of Moderately Priced Dwelling Units; eliminating variations on defined terms;
providing supplemental regulatory authority to the Director of Planning and Zoning;
and generally relating to the Affordable Housing Trust Fund.
Theresa Wellman, and Planning and Zoning Director Nash were present and
answered questions from the Committee.
Alderman Schandelmeier moved to postpone O-50-20 until the next Housing and

Human Welfare Committee Meeting. Seconded. A roll call vote was taken. The
motion CARRIED by the following vote:

Alderman Schandelmeier moved to recommend favorably AP-3-21. Seconded. A
roll call vote was taken. The motion CARRIED by the following vote:
