Chambers, Jr. City Council Chambers Housing and Human Welfare Committee Housing and Human Welfare Standing Committee Meeting April 19, 2021 Committee Minutes Call To Order Alderwoman Tierney called the meeting to order at 6:35 p.m. Roll Call Alderman Gay arrived at 6:40 p.m. Present: 3- Alderwoman Tierney, Chairperson Gay and Alderman Schandelmeier Approval of Agenda (any changes to the agenda should be made here) Alderman Schandelmeier moved to adopt the Regular Meeting Agenda. Seconded. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 2- Alderwoman Tierney and Alderman Schandelmeier Absent: 1- Chairperson Gay 1. Business and Miscellaneous Approval of Minutes HHW03.15.2 Approval of Minutes for the Regular Meeting 1 Attachments: HHW03.15.21 Alderman Schandelmeier moved to approve the minutes for the Regular Meeting. Seconded. A roll call vote was taken. The motion CARRIED by the following vote: Aye: 2- Alderwoman Tierney and Alderman Schandelmeier Absent: 1- Chairperson Gay Presentations ID-21-21 Opioid Prevention Related Programs and Services Update: City Manager Jarrell Attachments: Housing and Human Welfare Committee Meeting Presentation 4-19-21.pptx Office of Emergency Management Department Director Simmons, Fire Chief Remaley, Police Chief Jackson, and Deputy Police Chief Brandford were present and answered questions from the Committee.
