Legislation before Committee R-18-15 Amending Fines for Parking on Northwest Street and Parking of Motor Homes- For the purpose of removing the fine for violating 15-minute parking on portions of Northwest Street and establishing a fine for parking violations specific to motor homes. Cohen to the Public Safety Disability Retirement Board Attachments: AP-41-15 Appointment Letter/Resume AP-41-15signed Adam Cohen, 156 South Street, Annapolis, Maryland 21401 was present and addressed the committee regarding his reappointment to the Public Safety Disability Retirement Board and answered questions from the committee. Alderman Paone moved to recommend favorably. Seconded. CARRIED on voice vote. Aye: 2- Alderman Paone and Alderwoman Finlayson Absent: 1- Alderwoman Pindell Charles 3. Legislation before Committee O-37-15 Repealing Fifteen-Minute Parking on Northwest Street - For the purpose of repealing the fifteen-minute parking limit on portions of Northwest Street adjacent to the old Post Office. Linda Josephson, 3 Harry S. Truman Parkway, Annapolis, Maryland 21401, Project Manager, Infectious Disease Prevention Control representing Anne Arundel County Health Department was present and answered questions from the committee. This Informational Item was presented ID-521-15 Introduction of Mr. Bob Mueck, Public Safety Director for St. John’s College- OEM/Fire Deputy Chief Simmons gave an overview of the discussion topic and answered questions from the committee. Bob Mueck, 60 College Avenue, Annapolis, Maryland 21401, Public Safety Director representing St. John's College gave a presentation and answered questions from the committee. This Informational Item was presented ID-522-15 Recap and Discussion of Diversity Issues- APD Police Chief Pristoop gave a presentation on the discussion topic and answered questions from the committee.
