Chambers, Jr. City Council Chambers Public Safety Committee Public Safety Committee Standing Committee Meeting June 7, 2022 Minutes - Final Call To Order Chairwoman Pindell Charles called the meeting to order at 4:01 p.m. Roll Call Present: 2- Alderwoman Pindell Charles and Alderwoman O'Neill Absent: 1- Alderman Gay Approval of Agenda (any changes to the agenda should be made here) Alderwoman O'Neill moved to adopt the Special Meeting Agenda as amended to remove ID-154-22. Seconded. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 2- Alderwoman Pindell Charles and Alderwoman O'Neill Absent: 1- Alderman Gay 1. Business and Miscellaneous Approval of Minutes PSC04.04.22 Approval of Minutes for the Regular Meeting Attachments: PSC04.04.22 Alderwoman O'Neill moved to approve the Minutes for the Special Meeting. Seconded. A roll call vote was taken. The motion CARRIED by the following vote: Aye: 2- Alderwoman Pindell Charles and Alderwoman O'Neill Absent: 1- Alderman Gay Appointments and Re-appointments AP-31-22 The Re-Appointment of John Wardell to the Police and Fire Retirement Commission Attachments: Resume Ombudsman Raftovich was present and answered questions from the committee. Alderwoman O'Neill moved to recommend favorably AP-31-22. Seconded. A roll call vote was taken.
