Chambers, Jr. City Council Chambers Public Safety Committee Public Safety Committee Standing Committee Meeting July 21, 2022 Minutes - Final Call To Order Chairwoman Pindell Charles called the meeting to order at 1:13 p.m. Roll Call Alderwoman O'Neill arrived at 1:19 p.m. Present: 3- Alderman Gay, Alderwoman Pindell Charles and Alderwoman O'Neill Approval of Agenda (any changes to the agenda should be made here) Alderman Gay moved to adopt the Special Meeting Agenda as amended to remove the minutes PSC06.0722. Seconded. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 2- Alderman Gay and Alderwoman Pindell Charles Absent: 1- Alderwoman O'Neill 1. Business and Miscellaneous Appointments and Re-appointments AP-61-22 Candidate recommendation for County Executive Pittman to fill the City of Annapolis’ seat on the Anne Arundel County Police Accountability Board Attachments: Sharon Elliott Resume Sharon Elliott, Alderwoman Finlayson and Alderwoman Tierney were present and addressed the committee. Alderwoman O'Neill moved to recommend favorably AP-61-22. Seconded. A roll call vote was taken. The motion CARRIED by the following vote: Aye: 3- Alderman Gay, Alderwoman Pindell Charles and Alderwoman O'Neill Adjournment Alderwoman Finlayson and Alderwoman Tierney were present and addressed the committee. Mayor's Chief of Staff Pettit was present and answered questions from the committee.
