Chambers, Jr. City Council Chambers Public Safety Committee Public Safety Committee Standing Committee Meeting October 27, 2022 Minutes - Final Call To Order Alderwoman Pindell Charles called the meeting at 4:05 pm. Roll Call Present: 2- Alderwoman Pindell Charles and Alderwoman O'Neill Absent: 1- Alderman Gay Approval of Agenda (any changes to the agenda should be made here) Alderwoman Pindell Charles moved to approve the agenda. Seconded. CARRIED on voice vote. Approval of Minutes PSC 9.28.22 Special Meeting Minutes Attachments: PCS 9.28.2022 Special Meeting Minutes.pdf Alderwoman Pindell Charles moved to approve PSC 9.28.22 Special Meeting Minutes. Seconded. CARRIED on voice vote. Legislation O-38-22 Vehicles and Traffic - Stopping, Standing and Parking - Parking Spaces Reserved - For the purpose of reserving temporary assigned handicapped parking spaces in residential areas for City of Annapolis residents; and generally dealing with handicapped parking. Sponsors: Alderwoman Tierney Attachments: O-38-22 First Reader 0-38-22 Staff Report O-38-22 Fiscal Impact Note O-38-22 Amendment 1 - Ald. Tierney Assistant City Attorney Berger was present and answered questions from the committee. Alderwoman O'Neill moved to postpone O-38-22 until the next meeting of the public safety committee. Seconded. CARRIED on voice vote. Attachments: O-47-22 First Reader O-47-22 Staff Report Alderwoman Tierney was present and answered questions from the committee. Alderwoman Pindell Charles moved to postpone O-47-22 for 60 days.Seconded. CARRIED on voice vote.
