Chambers, Jr. City Council Chambers Public Safety Committee Public Safety Committee Standing Committee Meeting December 5, 2022 Minutes - Final Call To Order Alderwoman Pindell Charles called the Regular Meeting to order at 4:10 pm. Roll Call Present: 3- Alderman Gay, Alderwoman Pindell Charles and Alderwoman O'Neill Approval of Agenda (any changes to the agenda should be made here) Alderwoman Pindell Charles moved to approve the agenda and add Fire Department Update to general discussion. Seconded. CARRIED on voice vote. Business and Miscellaneous PSC Regular Meeting Minutes 10.27.22 Attachments: PSC 10.27.22 Alderwoman O'Neill moved to approve PSC 10.27.22. Seconded. CARRIED on voice vote. Legislation Ordinance(s) O-38-22 Vehicles and Traffic - Stopping, Standing and Parking - Parking Spaces Reserved - For the purpose of reserving temporary assigned handicapped parking spaces in residential areas for City of Annapolis residents; and generally dealing with handicapped parking. Sponsors: Alderwoman Tierney Attachments: O-38-22 First Reader 0-38-22 Staff Report O-38-22 Fiscal Impact Note O-38-22 Amendment 1 - Ald. Tierney Assistant Attorney Berger, Legislations & Policy Analyst Reuter and Alderwoman Tierney were present to answer questions from the committee. Alderman Gay moved to recommend O-38-22 favorably. Seconded. CARRIED on voice vote. City of Annapolis Page 2 Public Safety Committee Standing Committee Meeting December 5, 2022 Minutes - Final Resolution R-58-22 Amendments to Title 2 of the FY 2023 Fees Schedule - For the purpose of amending Annapolis Police Department fees; and generally related to the FY 2023 fee schedule. Sponsors: Alderwoman Pindell Charles and Alderwoman Tierney Attachments: R-58-22 First Reader R-58-22 Staff Report R-58-22 Fiscal Impact Note Alderman Gay moved to recommend R-58-22 favorably. Seconded. CARRIED on voice vote. General Discussion Alderman Gay requested police data from the full year of 2022 at the next PSC meeting. Fire Department Update Alderwoman Pindell Charles gave an update to recognize Annapolis City Firefighters. Adjournment Upon motion duly made, seconded and adopted, the Regular Meeting was adjourned at 5:06 pm.
