Legislation before Committee O-13-14 Repeal of Police Residency Requirement - For the purpose of repealing the requirement that sworn employees of the Police Department reside within a thirty-mile road radius from the City line. The motion CARRIED by the following vote: Aye: 3- Alderwoman Pindell Charles, Alderwoman Finlayson and Alderman Arnett O-6-14 Seasonal Outdoor Sales - For the purpose of amending the zoning code to address seasonal outdoor sales. The committee reviewed the Planning Commission Amendments. The committee support the Planning Commission Amendments #1-4 but would like to see them redrafted and review the legislation again. Alderwoman Finlayson moved to support the planning commission amendments. Seconded. A roll call vote was taken.
