Chambers, Jr. City Council Chambers Rules & City Government Committee Rules & City Government Standing Committee Meeting March 3, 2023 Committee Minutes - Final Call To Order Alderwoman Finlayson called the Regular Meeting to order at 1:03 pm. Roll Call Present: 3- Alderman Schandelmeier, Alderwoman Finlayson and Alderman Arnett Approval of Agenda (any changes to the agenda should be made here) Alderman Schandelmeier moved to amend the agenda to remove O-50-22. Seconded. CARRIED on voice vote. Business and Miscellaneous Approval of Minutes RCG 2.3.23 Regular Meeting Minutes Attachments: RCG 2.3.23 Alderman Schandelmeier moved to approve RCG 2.3.23. Seconded. CARRIED on voice vote. Legislation O-2-23 Budget Target Dates and Financial Impact of Labor Negotiations - For the purpose of clarifying the timeline for negotiations between the City and employee groups; requiring the Finance Committee to be briefed; technical corrections to the City Budget section of the code; and generally related to the annual city budget schedule requirements. Sponsors: Alderwoman Tierney, Savidge and Alderwoman O'Neill Attachments: O-2-23 - FIRST READER O-2-23 Fiscal Impact Note O-2-23 Staff Report Human Resource Manager Hopkins and City Attorney Lyles were present and answered questions from the committee. Alderman Schandelmeier moved to recommend O-2-23 favorably. Seconded. CARRIED on voice vote. Alderman Schandelmeier moved to postpone O-11-22. Seconded. CARRIED on voice vote. Adjournment Upon motion duly made, seconded and adopted, the Regular Meeting was adjourned at 1:42pm.
