1. Call To Order
Chairwoman Tierney called the meeting to order at 6:07 p.m.
2. Roll Call
Present: 1- Alderwoman Tierney
Absent: 1- Alderwoman Pindell Charles
3. Approval of Agenda (any changes to the agenda should be made here)
Alderman Rodriguez moved to adopt the Regular Meeting Agenda. The motion
was DEFEATED by the following vote:
Aye: 2- Alderwoman Tierney and Rodriguez
Absent: 1- Alderwoman Pindell Charles
4. Business before Committee

Alderman Rodriguez moved to approve. Seconded. A roll call vote was
taken. The motion CARRIED by the following vote:
Aye: 2- Alderwoman Tierney and Rodriguez
Absent: 1- Alderwoman Pindell Charles

Alderman Arnett, Planning and Zoning Comprehensive Planner Nash, and
Planning and Zoning Director Gutwald were present and answered questions from
the committee.
Robert Waldman, representing the Planning Commission was present and
addressed the committee.
5. Legislation before Committee
O-4-19 Special Residential Parking Districts - Parking Permits - For the
purpose of transferring the residential parking permit program to the Department of
Transportation; clarifying the eligibility requirements for resident, nonresident and
temporary parking permits; and specifying the restrictions on parking permits issued

6. Adjournment
Upon motion duly made, seconded and adopted, the meeting was adjourned at

the ordinance.
4/1/19 Public Safety Committee recommend favorably
Alderwoman Tierney was present and provided the committee with a
background on the legislation.
Transportation Director Gordon was present and answered questions
from the committee.
6. Adjournment
