PUBLIC FORUM
Public Forum allows the public an opportunity to address the Town Council. The speaker is requested not to address items
that appear as Public Hearings scheduled on the Regular Agenda. The Mayor will recognize those who would like to speak at the
appropriate time. Large groups are asked to select a representative to speak for the entire group.
Comments must be limited to 3 minutes to allow others the opportunity to speak.

*CLERK’S NOTE: The public hearing resolutions associated with each of the below items were
approved on September 10 and scheduled for September 24, 2024. Proper public notice was
not provided for the corresponding Annexation in sufficient time in accordance with North
Carolina General Statutes § 160A-58.2. The Town does not have authority to rezone property
not within their jurisdiction, therefore, these items are scheduled for consideration at on
October 08, 2024. Only the items denoted below in a red asterisk are being delayed to
October 08, 2024.
