NEW BUSINESS: SET DATE TOWNSHIP OPERATING RATE: Swiacki moved, Paterek seconded to set the township operation millage rage for 2011-2012 at .7235 mils. Ayes: Lobeck, Paterek, Ruthenberg, Swiacki Motion CARRIED SET FIRE ASSESSMENT RATE: Swiacki moved, Paterek seconded to set the fire assessment rate for 2011-2012 at 1.5 mils. Ayes: Paterek, Lobeck, Ruthenberg, Swiacki Motion CARRIED 2011-2012 GENERAL FUND BUDGET: Ruthenberg moved, Swiacki seconded to approve 2011-2012 General Fund Budget as amended adding: Line item: 758-000 –Smart Municipal Credits: $2,951.00. Ayes: Paterek, Lobeck, Ruthenberg, Swiacki Motion CARRIED 2011-2012 FIRE FUND BUDGET: Swiacki moved, Lobeck seconded to approve 2011-2012 Fire Fund Budget as amended: Line Item: 336-709 – Wages Firemen add $5,000 -- Amended budget amount: $165,000.00 Line Item: 336-810 – Insurance/Bonds/License add: $2,000 -- Amended budget amount: $22,000.00 Line Item: 336-976 – Turnout Gear add: $3,000 -- Amended budget amount: $8,000.00 Line item: 651-960 – Bad Debt (ambulance) add: $3,000 -- Amended budget amount: $18,000.00 Ayes: Lobeck, Paterek, Ruthenberg, Swiacki Motion CARRIED WAGE INCREASES: Fire Dept: 3 full time personnel: Swiacki moved, Ruthenberg seconded to increase hourly wage from $11.50/hr to $12.25/hr for full time personnel: Tom Bobcean, Kevin Kanehl and Jeremy Wroblewski, effective April 1, 2011. Ayes: Lobeck, Paterek, Ruthenberg, Swiacki Motion CARRIED Clerk: Ruthenberg moved, Lobeck seconded to give clerk $1,500.00 compensation effective April 1, 2011. Ayes: Lobeck, Ruthenberg Abstain: Swiacki Nays: Paterek Motion CARRIED Fire Dept: 3 full- time personnel – 3% retirement contribution: Swiacki moved, Lobeck seconded to approve a 3% retirement contribution for Kevin Kanehl, Jeremy Wroblewski and Tom Bobcean for the fiscal year 2011-2012. Ayes: Paterek, Lobeck, Ruthenberg, Swiacki Motion CARRIED Fire Dept: Part-time E.M.T.’S: Swiacki moved, Lobeck seconded to increase hourly wage to $9.00 for part-time E.M.T.’s, effective April 1, 2011. Ayes: Lobeck, Paterek, Ruthenberg, Swiacki Motion CARRIED Wage Resolution 2011-2012: Swiacki moved, Lobeck seconded to approve 2011-2012 wage resolution as presented. Ayes: Paterek, Lobeck, Ruthenberg, Swiacki Motion CARRIED Website: Terrific Towns: Paterek moved, Swiacki seconded to approve $250.00 for the terrific towns website and partnership with the Village of Armada and the DDA. Ayes: Paterek, Lobeck, Ruthenberg, Swiacki Motion CARRIED Limestone: Paterek moved Swiacki seconded to ask the county to apply one mile of limestone to 33 Mile Rd. from Romeo Plank to Powell and 34 Mile Rd. one mile west of Coon Creek at a total of $12,900.00. Ayes: Paterek, Ruthenberg, Swiacki, Lobeck Motion CARRIED FOIA Coordinator: Swiacki stated that she first offered Christine White to be FOIA Coordinator but she denied. Swiacki spoke with Sam Boelke and she agreed to take the task of FOIA Coordinator. Swiacki moved, Lobeck seconded to appoint Sam Boelke as township FOIA Coordinator. Motion CARRIED Superior Lock and Key: Paterek moved, Swiacki seconded to pay $117.00 to Superior Lock and Key.
