Supervisor stated he opens up the site and closes it at day end. He and Jim are working on revising the way the site is set up for better traffic flow. Deputy Supervisor: Treasurer Finlay indicated that the deputy supervisor was specifically put in place to do the bank reconciliations, which have now been turned over to the treasurer. Treasurer Finlay questioned the parameters of the Deputy Supervisor. Supervisor stated she would be in charge of the time clock and anything that may need to go in the personnel files. Supervisor wants time clock hooked up to keep track of personnel days, sick days and make sure they are getting the time they deserve. Petition of Armada Township on permit issued to Edward P. Kerner: No action. Just to keep the public up to date that the DEQ is working with the Township to resolve the matter. Fire Advisory Committee: Motion by Paterek seconded by Swiacki to appoint Dan Yohe, Darren Krause, Dan Duncan, Mike Musary and Sue Nieman to the committee. Ayes: Paterek, Kanehl, Finlay, Swiacki Motion CARRIED Fire Dept.: Tube heater repair: Motion by Swiacki seconded by Kanehl approve repair of overhead apparatus/bay heater for a cost not to exceed $1,900, work performed by Classic Heating & Cooling, funding from line item #206.336.930.002 station maintenance. Ayes: Swiacki, Kanehl, Paterek, Finlay Motion CARRIED 2018-summer tax collection: Motion by Finlay seconded by Swiacki to approve that the Armada Township Board of Trustees exercise its option to collect the 2018 school district summer taxes pursuant to the terms of Section 1611 of Public Act 333 of 1982 for compensation to be negotiated at a $1.75 per parcel. Ayes: Swiacki, Finlay, Kanehl, Paterek Motion CARRIED Water & Sewer Bids: Supervisor would like each board member to call references for the top three bidders. A special meeting is set for Thursday, December 21 at 7 p.m. to award project; the agenda will also include appointment of a new Trustee.
