Armada Township Board Special Meeting Minutes 23121 East Main Street Armada, MI 48005 December 05, 2016 – 10:00 a.m. CALL TO ORDER: 10:00 a.m. by Supervisor Paterek MEMBERS PRESENT: Smith, Paterek, Swiacki, LeMieux MEMBERS ABSENT: Finlay - excused PUBLIC COMMENTS: None NEW BUSINESS: Water & Sewer: Paterek moved Swiacki seconded to allow Supervisor Paterek to meet with Abraham and Gaffney to help put together a cost analysis as well as future projections. Supervisor updated the board as to what happened at his last meeting with the sewer committee with the Village of Romeo. They are now requesting user fees plus 1.43% of total cost to maintain the entire system above the $40,000 flat fee per year for sewer service to Armada Township and want Armada to handle maintenance and billing. Supervisor will report back to the board as soon as Abraham & Gaffney can provide a report on the cost analysis. Ayes: Smith, LeMieux, Swiacki, Paterek Motion CARRIED ZBA Liaison: Paterek moved Swiacki seconded to appoint Trustee Finlay as Liaison to the Zoning Board of Appeals if she will accept.
